Golden www.benthicsoftware.com/products.htm#golden is an inexpensive ad hoc reporting tool used to run SQL scripts. It allows the user to export the output from a script to MS Excel with minimal technical knowledge. It is a very good program for the beginner to intermediate user.
TOAD
TOAD www.quest.com/toad is a highly complex tool. It can do everything that Golden will do along with many DBA (Database Administrator) functions that would never be used by the average user. It is for the high-end user or Oracle DBA.
